The proximity to all that is great about Lakeview caught our attention when this property was first listed.  Being located a few blocks from the Addison Brown Line train was another reason why we felt that this was a great property to add to our portfolio of single family homes.

When we first walked in the door, we immediately recognized the quality of the finishes as well as the open, airy and inviting feel of the house. Having lived in the home for a number of years, the high quality of the workmanship and attention to detail continues to amaze us. I continue telling others that that we are spoiled based on the quality – if we ever look for another house, this home will be the base quality that we will expect. I would add that the Spearhead team has been easy to work with and the communication has been great. When we ask for your professional opinion, we know you are being honest and upfront; and you aren’t just telling us what we want to hear. You have our confidence and trust.
— Vivek Kohli, Marshfield Homeowner

Lakeview is regarded as one of Chicago’s most desirable and beautiful neighborhoods. Close proximity to the lake and park draws residents from all over the city while a multitude of transit options provide residents an attractive commute to downtown. Diverse retail stores, restaurants, bars, and entertainment can be found along the main arteries and make it a walker’s paradise. This vibrant urban neighborhood is also home to Wrigley Field and all of the commotion one would expect near a ballpark, though Lakeview is large enough to have many quiet pockets sought out by young families.

We began the design process by choosing the traditional stone and textured burgundy brick palate that has served us well before. The key difference in this home was the more transitional interior finishes that we executed with the direction of our Interior Designer Maryellen Larkin.  We eased the profile of traditional raised panel profile in our white kitchen cabinetry by going with full overlay flat panel doors.  The plumbing and electrical fixtures also reflected a soft contemporary look and feel to appeal to what we believed was a fresh trend away from the heavier traditional lines of the past.
